One problem with Canola Oil is that it is partially hydrogenated or refined for commercial use which means that it is a source of trans fatty acids - sometimes at very high levels.
*** Use in moderation.

For salad dressings, use freshly squeezed lemon juice with unprocessed oil.

@ Add freshly squeezed lemon juice to your water for a change of flavour.

Garlic is excellent, it has anti-candida activity - especially Kyolic Aged Garlic. Ginger is also reputed to have anti-candida effects.

Note: This list is not by any means exhaustive but it does show that there are still plenty of very enjoyable foods to eat. Probably the greatest problem is not being able to grab takeaways and snackfoods. Some rethinking and organisation is required but is definitely worthwhile - any diet is very much improved by quitting rubbish foods.
